The material for Sun and Earth was naturally dyed. Walnut hulls I picked up from my yard is the brown color. When we lived in the country in Ohio, we had many different wildflowers. One was called Wingstem because the stem had 4 “wings” that surrounded the stem. The yellow color is from the petals of that flower. The material was cut apart, and a poem was stitched into it. Then the whole “world” was beaded and embroidered.
