Of Two Minds started with a picture of downtown Pittsburgh while we were stuck in traffic. I also took a picture of our woods in rural Ohio where we lived at the time. I printed the pictures onto fabric and cut them in pieces. I put them back together in a crazy quilt pattern.
The idea behind the quilt is that sometimes we want to be in the busy city, and other times we prefer the quiet of the country life. We can have both things if we choose. We can live in the country and visit the city or live in the city and visit the country. If we are lucky, we can have a place in the city and the country. I’ve never been that lucky. ; )
